STOW, OH – Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America is proud to announce their sponsorship of two 1915 Harley Davidson® motorcycles in the upcoming Pre-1916 Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run by providing Speedmaster AM6 classic tires size 3.00-21 (Part # 1659401). Owners and riders of these amazing classic Harley’s include Buzz Kanter and David Fusiak. Buzz Kanter, AMA Hall of Famer and long time motorcycle racer, collector and enthusiast, is also the well known owner and publisher of American Iron and American Iron Motorcycle Bagger magazines.
The Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run, named after Erwin “Cannonball” Baker who set 143 driving records from 1910 through the 1930’s, is a coast-to-coast, 3,320-mile contest that will take place September 10-26, 2010. The route begins in Outer Banks N.C. and concludes at Pacific Ocean Beach in Santa Monica, Calif.
